The Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel, David Olaniyi Oyedepo, expressed that his life would have been filled with extreme misery if Matthew 6:33 had not been proven true. He shared this perspective during the church’s monthly leadership summit on June 3 and encouraged the congregation to prioritize seeking God and His kingdom in order to experience the wonders of the mid-year seasons.
According to Oyedepo, this is a time when the sons of God will manifest, serving as the world’s last hope. He emphasized that the fulfillment of Matthew 6:33 is crucial and without it, he would have been one of the most unhappy individuals on Earth. He also highlighted the significance of spiritual fruit gathering for our security and the season’s potential for supernatural church growth.
The bishop stated that being a profitable steward requires humbling oneself and not seeking personal gain. Remarkably, he revealed that he has never prayed for a house or car in his life, yet he lacks nothing. He explained that stewardship provokes irreversible blessings from God.
Oyedepo urged believers to embrace the wonders of this season by taking steps forward and seeking grace to initiate appropriate actions. He posed the question of what the church should do differently to maximize the opportunities during this Wonder Season. He emphasized the importance of entering into a covenant through sacrifice, as it will always elicit God’s intervention. Additionally, he encouraged believers to establish a new prayer schedule and adhere to it diligently.
Furthermore, Oyedepo announced June 5 to July 31 as the Season of Glory, characterizing it as a period of widespread revival fire across cities.
