During the proceedings at the Presidential Election Petition Court in Abuja, a witness named Mr. Ibrahim Hamza testified that he was compelled under duress to sign the results of the presidential election in Nasarawa state. Mr. Hamza, who served as a state collation agent for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stated that officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) refused to provide him with a copy of the election result unless he signed it. He further claimed that he and other party agents signed the result against their will due to the threat of not being issued a copy otherwise. Additionally, Mr. Hamza mentioned that the result presented in court was a mutilated version, asserting that he had originally signed a clean copy. According to the witness, the Labor Party emerged as the winner in Nasarawa state with 191,361 votes, representing 35.40% of the total votes cast.
