Naira Depreciates Against Dollar After Remaining Stable For sometime

On Thursday, the Naira experienced a depreciation against the dollar at the Investors and Exporters window, with an exchange rate of N469.50 per dollar.

This represented a decrease of 1.04% compared to the N464.67 rate on Wednesday. The open indicative rate for the day’s trading closed at N468.94 per dollar. The highest exchange rate recorded during the day was N476.50 per dollar before settling at N469.50. At its lowest point, the Naira was sold at a rate of 460 to the dollar.

The official Investors and Exporters window saw a total trading volume of $74.18 million on Thursday.
