President Bola Tinubu has announced that he has requested the backing of traditional rulers and their representatives from all over the country to support his administration. This call was made during a meeting held at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja on Friday. Tinubu shared this information on his Twitter page on the same day. The meeting forms part of a series of engagements that the president has been conducting with important stakeholders since assuming office on May 29. He tweeted, “I had a productive meeting this morning with a gathering of traditional rulers from across the country. During our conversation, I urged them to support the administration’s endeavors in ensuring lasting peace and unity by encouraging responsible conduct and patriotism.”
