As part of their ongoing mission to eliminate banditry in the North-Western region of Nigeria, troops belonging to Operation Hadarin Daji successfully eliminated three bandits in Zamfara.
The incident took place on Monday, June 12, in the Bukkuyum Local Government Area of the state. Major General Musa Danmadami, the Director of Defence Media Operations, shared this information in a statement issued to journalists in Abuja on the same day.
“Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji today 12 June 2023 conducted ambush operation to bandits hideout at Kairu/Kyaram villages in Bukkuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State,” the statement read.
“During the operation, troops made contact with terrorists and following a fire fight, three (3) terrorists were neutralized.”
According to his statement, the military high command expressed their appreciation for the achievements of the troops involved in Operation Hadarin Daji. Additionally, they called upon the public to provide the troops with reliable and timely information regarding terrorists and any criminal activities occurring in their vicinity.
