On Tuesday, the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students, accompanied by its executives, paid a visit to President Bola Tinubu.
During the meeting, they expressed their backing for the President’s decision to remove fuel subsidies and enact the Student Loan Act. Buhari Sallau, a former presidential media aide, shared images of the visit on his Facebook page.
He wrote, “National Association of Nigerian Student Executives led by its President, Mr Usman Bamrambu; National Association of University Students (NAUS) President, Mr Obaji Marshal; National Association of Colleges of Education Students (NACES) President, Mr Aminu Habibu alongside Mr Dotun Omoleye of the National Council of Nigeria visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu today to declare total support for the Student Loan Act Signed by the President yesterday and also Fuel Subsidy Removal.”
