NAFDAC, NDLEA Not Among Boards Dissolved- FG

President Bola Tinubu exclude the boards of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency and the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control from being dissolved.

Earlier, on Monday, the President had declared the dissolution of boards for various federal government parastatals, agencies, institutions, and government-owned companies.

However, on Tuesday, the Director of Information at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Willie Bassey, stated that the directive of the President would not apply to NAFDAC and NDLEA.

The statement read,  “Further to the directive on the dissolution of Boards of Federal Government parastatals, agencies, institutions, and government-owned companies, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation has clarified that the Boards of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency and the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control are exempted from such dissolution.”
