PDP was simply envious of the ruling party’s accomplishments within a short span of three weeks……
By Musa Ibrahim:
In response to comments attributed to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) claiming that the government led by President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is implementing policies that are against the interests of the people, the Presidency issued a statement on Wednesday. The statement, delivered by Mr. Dele Alake, the Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communications, and Strategy, asserted that the PDP was simply envious of the ruling party’s accomplishments within a short span of three weeks.
Additionally, the Presidency mentioned that it was not surprising to hear such criticism from the PDP, given their alleged lack of intellectual capacity and managerial competence during their 16-year tenure in government. Mr. Alake further commented that the PDP’s remarks were relatively mild and that they were likely to make even more negative statements in the days ahead.
“We expect them to say worse because all the time they were in government they lacked the gut, the mental capacity, the physical resourcefulness and the vision to do what the government has done or accomplished within short weeks.
“What they could not do in 16 years of holding the presidency of this country Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration has done it within three short weeks. So what do you expect them to say?
“They lacked that mental capacity, the physical wherewithal, the managerial acumen to achieve those bold goals, so they have to be envious. So it is normal,
