The ex-Senator of Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has confronted former President Muhammadu Buhari regarding his supposed request to avoid investigation by his successor.
Sani accused Buhari of having an aversion to being investigated and criticized him for doing the same to his predecessor.
In a tweet from his verified Twitter account on Thursday, the political activist pointed out that while in office, Buhari held the previous administration responsible for Nigeria’s challenges.
Sani stated, “They arrogantly oppressed, dispossessed the poor and the innocent and without remorse seek divine blessings for their injustice and inequity.
“Buhari probed and blamed all the ills and vices of this country on the previous administrations but he is allergic to being probed and blamed.”
These developments arise in the midst of allegations that President Bola Tinubu had given assurances to Buhari that he would not initiate investigations into him or his close associates.
