Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, the founder of Omega Power Ministries, experienced a sudden collapse at an unidentified airport due to an undisclosed illness on Friday.
The apostle, who is widely recognized for his charitable acts, has recently made headlines for various endeavors. One notable incident involved him sending the Happy Boys, who were previously employed as security personnel at Chicken Republic, abroad after they were dismissed for dancing while on duty. Additionally, he secured a three-bedroom flat and gifted a car to the parents of the late Deborah Samuel.
However, these acts of philanthropy have been surrounded by controversy, with allegations that the gifts were discontinued. Apostle Chinyere has denied these accusations.
A video that quickly spread across social media platforms showed Chinyere lying on the floor before being swiftly taken to the hospital.
A brief post on the church’s official Facebook page confirmed that the clergyman from Rivers State was indeed unconscious at the airport.
It read, “Please let us all endeavour to put our Father in the Lord in our prayers.”
In the meantime, numerous church members and followers have expressed their prayers for the apostle’s well-being through social media.
