The Gunners will be paying a fixed fee of €42 million, along with an additional €5 million in add-ons.

By Tuama Peter:

According to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, Arsenal and Ajax have reached an agreement for the transfer of defender Jurrien Timber.

The Gunners will be paying a fixed fee of €42 million, along with an additional €5 million in add-ons.

Timber has already finalized personal terms with Arsenal, securing a five-year contract with the North London club.

In the coming days, he will undergo a medical examination before the transfer is officially announced.

Last summer, Timber was on the verge of joining a Premier League team, but he ultimately turned down the opportunity to move to Manchester United.

However, the Dutch player is now delighted to have the chance to work under the guidance of Mikel Arteta and is close to achieving his long-held dream.
