On Wednesday, Manchester United completed the signing of Mason Mount, an English midfielder from Chelsea, for a reported fee of £55 million. Mount, who has agreed to a five-year contract, expressed his excitement to join the team and contribute to their pursuit of winning significant championships at Old Trafford. Having emerged from Chelsea’s youth academy, the 24-year-old has amassed 129 appearances in the Premier League, netting 27 goals.
