Victor Osimhen has requested that Napoli increase his salary twofold in order for him to commit to a new contract. Multiple reports indicate that Osimhen, who currently earns approximately €4 million, is seeking a minimum salary of €7 million.
Additionally, Napoli has stipulated that a substantial €200 million release clause be included in the new contract. Recently, the president of Napoli confirmed that the 24-year-old has agreed to extend his contract by two years. Osimhen’s current contract is set to expire in 2025.
Last season, the striker played a crucial role in Napoli’s victory in the league, securing their first title in 33 years. He emerged as the top scorer in Serie A with 26 goals. Notably, several top clubs, including PSG, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and Chelsea, have expressed interest in acquiring the player.
