Burna Boy Makes History As First African Artiste To Sell Out U.S Stadium

Adding to the excitement, Nissi, Burna Boy’s sister, delivered an impressive opening performance at the concert.

Burna Boy, the Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, also known as Damini Ogulu, has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first African artist to completely sell out a stadium show in the United States of America. The highly-anticipated event took place at the Citi Field Stadium in New York City, with a capacity of 41,000 attendees, on Saturday.

Adding to the excitement, Nissi, Burna Boy’s sister, delivered an impressive opening performance at the concert. Additionally, Burna Boy surprised the crowd by inviting British rapper Dave to join him on stage for a rendition of their collaborative track, ‘Location.’ Throughout the concert, Burna Boy showcased his immense talent, performing hit songs such as ‘Ye’ and tracks from his last four albums: ‘Outside,’ ‘African Giant,’ ‘Twice As Tall,’ and ‘Love Damini.’
