Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi, the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the March 18 gubernatorial polls in Delta, expressed his appreciation for the unwavering support of party members as they intensify their efforts to reclaim their mandate. Following the tribunal proceedings in Asaba, Osanebi praised the dedication of every progressive member since the beginning of the process.
Osanebi was astonished by the consistent support exhibited by Delta progressives, starting from the campaign days of H.E President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, and other party candidates. He urged all party faithful to remain steadfast and rally behind Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, their leader, until they succeed in their mission to take control of Delta State from those who were ill-prepared for governance.
Additionally, Osanebi commended the leaders of the APC from the Delta Central senatorial district for expressing confidence in H.E Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege and disregarding baseless allegations that the party leadership, including the immediate past Deputy Senate President, did not contribute to the President’s victory.
Osanebi urged party leaders from all over the state to take it upon themselves to dismiss these unfounded allegations propagated by Cairo Ojugboh and his group of rebels, who have now been expelled from the party.
