Naira Depreciates Against Dollar At I&E Window, Closes At N803.90/$

On Friday, the Nigerian currency, Naira, experienced a decline in value against the US dollar, with an exchange rate of N803.90 at the investors and exporters window. This represented a decrease of 7.72% compared to Thursday’s rate of N746.28 per dollar.

The open indicative rate concluded at N763.36 for one dollar on Friday. During the day’s trading, the highest recorded spot exchange rate was N829 to the dollar before eventually settling at N803.90.

Additionally, the Naira reached a low of N689.34 against the dollar within the day. The investors and exporters window saw a total trading volume of $46.90 million on Friday.
