Minister of State for Petroleum-designate, Heineken Lokpobiri, paid a visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja on Friday. This marked Lokpobiri’s first meeting with the Nigerian leader since his recent assignment to the petroleum ministry.
During their discussion, they evaluated Tinubu’s plans and actions aimed at enhancing the productivity of the petroleum sector.
After the conversation, Lokpobiri expressed his satisfaction with Tinubu’s proactive approach towards developing the nation’s economic foundation and pledged his full support to these initiatives.
He also assured that he would swiftly engage in his duties to back President Tinubu’s developmental goals for the sector. The meeting also saw the presence of Nyesom Wike, the FCT Minister-designate.
