Nigerian music artist Ayodeji Balogun, famously known as Wizkid, is mourning the loss of his mother.
Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, Wizkid’s mother, passed away on Friday at approximately 1.30 am.
Sunday Aare, Wizkid’s longstanding manager, confirmed the sad news, revealing that Mrs. Balogun passed away in the early hours of Friday.
“Yes, she died this morning, at about 1.30 am,” Aare said.
The deceased Balogun is survived by two other children, Yetunde Balogun and Lade Balogun.
