Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, affirmed his continued membership with the PDP while serving in the APC government under Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Wike expressed no remorse for his choice and indicated that he couldn’t be reprimanded by any PDP member for anti-party actions.
“Party is just a vehicle. I campaigned for Tinubu during the elections and I’m not here to do party. I’m here to help President Tinubu achieve his renewed hope agenda” Wike said
He also suggested that rather than him facing discipline, it should be the PDP that faces consequences for violating the rotation arrangement in the party’s constitution.
