Son Bags Hat-trick In Tottenham’s 5-2 Win At Burnley

Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min achieved his first hat-trick of the season as his team convincingly defeated Burnley 5-2 at Turf Moor on Saturday.

Burnley, still seeking their first point, had a promising start as Lyle Foster neatly scored in the fourth minute against the visiting team.

However, Tottenham quickly found their rhythm, and Son equalized in the 16th minute with a delicately executed finish. In the first-half stoppage time, Cristian Romero’s powerful shot gave the Londoners the lead.

James Maddison extended Tottenham’s advantage to 3-1 with a beautifully curved finish in the 54th minute. Son then scored twice in rapid succession just past the hour mark, sealing an emphatic victory.

Josh Brownhill secured a late consolation goal for Burnley.

With 10 points from four games, Tottenham currently holds the second position in the table.
