Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi, a key player for both the Super Eagles and his club, has earned a nomination for the EPL Player of the Month award for August.
Awoniyi has showcased remarkable performance this season, contributing to his team’s success in every match played so far.
The 26-year-old striker has netted three goals and played a pivotal role by assisting Anthony Elanga’s match-winning goal against Chelsea before the international break.
In addition to Awoniyi, Manchester City’s midfielder Rodri has also received a nomination. Rodri has scored twice and provided an assist, helping City maintain their top position in the league with four consecutive wins.
