A man named Oluwaseun Akinnubi, who is reportedly a pastor and the founder of a local church, has been accused of impregnating his landlord’s wife, known as Mama Precious, in the town of Ore, located in the Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The pastor had been residing with the landlord, Tubosun, apparently because he had no place to stay. Over time, it is alleged that the pastor used some form of hypnosis on Tubosun and subsequently impregnated his wife, who is a mother of four and lived in the same house.
Following these allegations, the Ondo State Police Command in Ore arrested the pastor after receiving a complaint from the landlord’s brother.
It has been reported that the wife gave birth to a baby, and the pastor claimed to be the child’s father. Tubosun’s family believes he may have been influenced or hypnotized, as he didn’t see any wrongdoing in the pastor’s actions.
Moses Akinnuoye, the elder brother of the landlord, confirmed the incident and expressed his shock when the pastor asserted his paternity of the baby and the pregnancy.
He said, “Four rooms were burgled in the house and I decided to invite the police since people were complaining that certain persons used to come after others had left for work.
“He (pastor) was doing church service in my brother’s sitting room. It was at the police station I started hearing different stories. The pastor claimed he was the owner of the baby. My brother said he cannot change the will of God.
“The pastor told my brother that God told him he cannot marry the woman. When my brother declared he heard the voice of God and left the wife for his friend (the pastor), what can anybody do? I just need the pastor to move his things away from the house. The pastor has been granted bail by the police.”
