Nigeria Now Ready For Business- Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu declared that Nigeria is now better positioned to assert its rightful standing in the global business arena. This announcement came during his meeting with ExxonMobil’s global leadership in New York, as conveyed by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.

Tinubu emphasized that Nigeria is no longer willing to settle for meager investments and is determined to secure substantial opportunities in the world’s prominent energy conglomerates.

Drawing from his extensive experience in the oil and gas sector as a professional accountant, Tinubu affirmed his ability to make tough decisions as President and expressed his readiness to overcome obstacles hindering significant capital inflow into Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.

“The knotty issues require direct supervision on my part. Despite many contending obligations, I will sit down and oversee the process of removing these encumbrances to job and wealth creation for the Nigerian people. ‘’We know the industry. We grew up in it. We are positioned to solve the problems, and we are pragmatic, and we will solve the problem,” the President said.

Liam Mallon, the President of Global Upstream Operations at ExxonMobil, conveyed his renewed and individual dedication to Nigeria during his meeting with Tinubu.

He emphasized his capability to reciprocate the President’s initiatives by committing to a fresh investment endeavor. Mallon pledged to increase production by approximately 40,000 barrels per day (bpd) in the initial phase of this investment push within ExxonMobil’s Nigerian operations.

“What you told us was that your team would collaborate with us, and that has proven true. We have made significant progress since we last met. ‘’We are growing our production, and we are working hard on expanding in the deep water production. We appreciate your efforts, and we will respond in kind,’’ the ExxonMobil President stated
