Super Eagles Drop One Place In Latest FIFA Rankings

In the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday, Nigeria’s Super Eagles slipped down one spot despite their impressive 6-0 victory over Sao Tome and Principe. Despite this change, they still held on to the sixth position in Africa.

The top-ranked team in Africa remained the Carthage Eagles of Morocco, followed by the Terangha Lions of Senegal, Carthage Eagles of Tunisia, Desert Foxes of Algeria, and Pharaohs of Egypt.

On the global stage, world champions Argentina maintained their first-place ranking, while the top five teams in the world were rounded out by France, Brazil, England, and Belgium.
