A young girl in Agbarha-Otor community, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, has tragically lost her life at the hands of Pastor Alex Itedjere.
The girl’s lifeless body was found within the pastor’s residence, where he had mercilessly attacked her with a machete, according to information obtained by Waffi TV.
The motive behind this horrifying act remains unclear at this time. In response to this shocking incident, angered members of the community have risen to seek retribution for the young girl. They were on the brink of taking the law into their own hands by attempting to lynch the pastor, but the timely intervention of the police prevented further violence.
Human rights activist Comrade Israel Joe is now calling for justice on behalf of the deceased girl. He is urging the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Wale Abass, to promptly initiate an investigation and ensure that the suspect is prosecuted in accordance with the laws of the land.
