Delta: Police Inspector’s Son Allegedly Stabs Boy To Death

The child of a serving police inspector, named Ogbantu, is alleged to have fatally stabbed a young boy named Onyebuchi Ernest Emeka in Warri, Delta State.

According to information obtained by Waffi TV, the suspect, Destiny Ogbantu, fled the scene of the incident. This tragic event unfolded near the “A” Division of the Police Barracks and the Warri Area Command on the 22nd of September at approximately 6 pm.

The precise reasons behind the suspect’s deadly actions remain unclear at this time. It has been reported that the victim came to the police barracks, where he encountered the suspect. This encounter escalated into a heated argument and ultimately a physical altercation between the two.

An undisclosed source suggested that the suspect went upstairs to the “D” block apartment, obtained a knife and a dagger, and pursued the victim. The victim attempted to escape but was caught and repeatedly stabbed by the suspect. Subsequently, the victim was rushed to Lily Hospital, where he succumbed to the severe injuries inflicted by the stabbing. As of the latest report, the police have apprehended the inspector in question at the behest of the area commander.
