Man Charged With Beating His 3 Children To Death In Thailand

Authorities in Thailand have filed charges against a man for fatally assaulting his two-year-old daughter and his two infant sons. There are suspicions that Songsak Songsaeng may have also been responsible for the deaths of two other infant sons from a previous marriage.

These charges stem from the recent discovery of the body of a two-year-old girl buried beneath the floor of a kitchen. Songsak claims to have a history of mental illness and has stated that he killed his children due to his inability to cope with their crying.

In connection with this case, both his current wife and his ex-wife have also been charged. His current wife faces charges related to the death of their two-year-old daughter, while his ex-wife has been charged concerning the deaths of the two boys. All three individuals have been taken into custody. It’s worth noting that Songsak has been married four times.

The police first became aware of possible domestic violence in the Bang Khen district of Bangkok earlier this month when neighbors reported physical abuse of Songsak’s two daughters, aged 12 and four. Police rescued the two daughters while they were at home without their parents. The 12-year-old informed the police that her parents had assaulted her two-year-old sister, leading to her tragic death. She also aided the police in locating the body, which was buried under a kitchen floor in north-west Thailand.

Additionally, Thai authorities have charged Songsak with the murder of two other sons he had with his third wife. DNA evidence linked him to two infants whose bodies were discovered a decade ago. His third wife had previously asserted that he was responsible for the deaths of their four infant sons and provided the police with information about the locations where two of them were buried. There is a belief that the other two may be buried beneath an area now occupied by a petrol station.
