The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has officially distanced itself from a circulating recruitment announcement on social media.
The NNPC has strongly advised the Nigerian populace not to be deceived by these fictitious recruitment advertisements, emphasizing that they are not currently conducting any recruitment.
This declaration was conveyed through an official statement posted on the company’s X channel on Monday.
Previously, in August 2017, the NNPC had cautioned the public to disregard social media posts suggesting that they were in the process of recruiting new personnel. Furthermore, in both October and December of 2021, the oil company once again urged Nigerians to ignore fraudulent recruitment claims.
The NNPC, in its latest social media post, reiterated its commitment to announce any forthcoming recruitment exercises exclusively through its official platforms.
“Whenever recruitment is conducted, it will be announced on our website and official social media handles,” it said.
