The Federal Government has officially announced that Monday, October 2, 2023, will be observed as a public holiday to mark Nigeria’s 63rd independence anniversary.
In a statement released on Thursday, Dr. Oluwatoyin Akinlade, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, announced that the declaration on behalf of the federal government was made by Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior, in Abuja.
