The police have officially stated that Lagos socialite Sam Larry is in their custody and is actively participating in the ongoing investigation regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of 27-year-old singer and songwriter Promise Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad.
Reports indicate that Sam Larry was apprehended at the Lagos airport upon his return to Nigeria, facing allegations of involvement in Mohbad’s demise.

Previously, Waffi TVpublished a report on how Sam Larry faced significant backlash on social media due to videos depicting him and others harassing the late singer, Mohbad.
In one of the videos, during the filming of a music video featuring Mohbad and Zlatan, an individual claimed to be an associate of Naira Marley arrived with a group of individuals targeting Mohbad, who fled in fear.
The video provoked outrage among many Nigerians on social media, leading them to visit Larry’s Instagram page to criticize him for bullying and threatening the late singer.
