Hon. Dio Tanga, Former Three-time Vice Chairman of Warri North Local Government, extended his congratulations to Governor Sheriff Oborewvori for his well-earned victory.
This comes after the Delta State Governorship Election Tribunal recently rejected the petitions filed by the APC, SDP, and LP, challenging Oborewvori’s victory.
Hon. Tanga characterized these victories as a straightforward battle and viewed them as a positive development for the people of Delta.
In a statement he issued to Waffi TV today, he commends the tribunal for its excellent work, noting that it accurately represents the true results of the March 18th governorship election.
He applauds Governor Sheriff for making significant strides in human and social development over the past four months and for his bold move in bringing Julius Berger back to Delta State. This action has instilled trust in his administration among millions of Delta residents.
He also counseled the opposition to embrace the tribunal’s decision for the sake of peace and progress in Delta State.
Hon. Tanga extends his prayers for Governor Sheriff to successfully conclude his tenure with positive outcomes.
