To commemorate the nation’s 63rd Independence Anniversary, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will deliver a nationwide address on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 7 am, as announced by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
Television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets are encouraged to connect to the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria network services for the broadcast.
In the meantime, former President Muhammadu Buhari has extended his greetings to President Tinubu and the Nigerian people on this significant occasion, expressing his confidence in the continued strengthening of democracy in Nigeria and its role as an inspiration to the African continent, as conveyed in a message from his spokesman, Garba Shehu.
