Cristiano Ronaldo extended his scoring streak for the season by netting his 10th league goal in Al-Nassr’s 2-1 victory against Al-Ta’ee during matchday 8 of the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo, the Portuguese superstar, made his return to the team after being rested in the midweek King Cup match, a 5-1 win over Ohod.
In the 87th minute, Ronaldo converted a penalty after a VAR review penalized Al-Ta’ee’s defender, Semedo, for a handball. Earlier in the 32nd minute, Anderson Talisca had given Al Nassr the lead, receiving a pass from Ronaldo during a counterattack.
Al-Ta’ee managed to equalize with just 10 minutes remaining, thanks to Virgil Misidjan, who slotted the ball beyond Nawaf, beating Al-Nassr’s highline. This victory marked Al Nassr’s sixth league win of the season, following two initial season losses.
