The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Jos, Sokoto State, has affirmed the All Progressives Congress’ win.
The tribunal determined that the petitioners, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Saidu Umar, were unable to substantiate their case convincingly.
The PDP and Saidu Umar had brought their challenge to the tribunal, contesting the March 18 governorship election’s outcome in which the APC and Ahmad Aliyu emerged victorious.
