Arsenal Handed Major Injury Boost Ahead Of Man City Clash

Arsenal have received a significant injury boost as they prepare for their upcoming Premier League match against Manchester City on October 8. This positive development follows Bukayo Saka’s participation in training with Arsenal on Monday morning, along with the return of midfielder Thomas Partey, who had been sidelined recently.

The Gunners secured a 4-0 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday, with Saka contributing a goal. Notably, there were concerns about his fitness after he had to leave the previous weekend’s match against Tottenham Hotspur due to an injury. Consequently, Saka was among several players unable to train in preparation for the Bournemouth game.

During the Bournemouth match, Saka appeared to be in discomfort in the second half and was substituted in the 76th minute for Fabio Vieira. Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, explained in his post-match interview that Saka had suffered a “bad knock” during the Bournemouth game.

Despite these initial concerns, Saka resumed training as usual on Monday, indicating positive progress ahead of the upcoming clashes against Manchester City and RC Lens in the UEFA Champions League.
