Hon. Spencer O. Okpoye, the Commissioner representing the Ijaw ethnic nationality on the board of DESOPADEC, expresses his sympathy to the families of the individuals who tragically lost their lives in a tanker explosion along the Warri-Benin expressway yesterday morning.
In a statement conveyed to Waffi TV, he conveys his heartfelt condolences to those grieving the loss of their loved ones.
According to Hon. Okpoye, this incident has plunged both families and the entire state into a state of mourning.
He offered a prayer for God to bestow strength upon the families of the victims and those who suffered the loss of their property.
He said “My heartfelt condolences go out to the families of the five individuals who tragically lost their lives yesterday in the tanker explosion along the Warri-Benin expressway”
“It’s truly disheartening that such an incident occurred, resulting in the loss of five lives and the destruction of property worth millions”
“This tragic event has plunged both the affected families and the entire state into mourning. I pray that God grants the bereaved families the strength to cope with their loss”.
