Singer Davido subtly mocked former Nigeria Football Federation President Amaju Pinnick after Pinnick accused him of not performing at an event in Warri, Delta State, despite receiving over $94,600 in payment.
Pinnick made these claims during the 19th edition of ‘Warri Again’ on Friday, alleging that the organizers had also arranged a $18,000 private jet for the ‘Unavailable Crooner,’ but he didn’t appear. Consequently, they had to find a replacement artist, Shallipopi.
In what appeared to be a response shared on X, the Afrobeats sensation confidently asserted that no one could prevent him from performing anywhere in Nigeria. He reassured his Warri fans that he would be visiting their city soon.
“Nobody can stop me from performing anywhere in Nigeria… Warri I will see you soon,” he wrote.
He also posted a picture of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, logo with the caption; “Make I no talk.”
