The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has categorically labeled a recruitment advertisement circulating on social media as fraudulent and cautioned potential applicants against falling victim to scammers.
Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, the Director of Public Relations and Information for NAF, clarified that the NAF is not currently conducting any recruitment.
He stressed that the advertised opportunity did not originate from NAF and reminded the public that the most recent recruit graduation, Basic Military Training Course 43/2022, occurred on July 8. Gabkwet assured that when NAF initiates recruitment, the public will be duly informed.
“The public is please, once again reminded that the recruitment and selection process into the NAF is free and without any form of gratification. Anyone who pays money under any guise does so at his or her own risk.
