Today, the National Examination Council is set to finally release the results of the 2023 Senior Secondary School Certificate examinations, easing the tension among students and parents. This prolonged delay has also affected the timely commencement of university admissions for this year.
It’s worth recalling that NECO, which concluded the exam in early August 2023, initially promised to reveal the results within 45 days. However, this commitment was not fulfilled. Subsequently, there were expectations of result publication on September 26th or 30th, both of which passed without any announcement.
A later anticipated release date of October 5, 2023, also came and went without any results. Today, the official confirmation arrives that the results will, indeed, be disclosed at 11am.
