Nigeria, according to the Pew Research Centre, holds the second position as one of the most prayerful countries globally, with a 95 percent prayer rate. Afghanistan topped the list with a 96 percent prayer rate.
The Pew Research Centre, a non-partisan American think-tank located in Washington, D.C., conducted this survey, revealing these statistics.
In a similar survey between 2008 and 2017, Nigeria was also identified as one of the most prayerful countries.
On the other hand, countries such as China (1%), UK (6%), Switzerland (8%), Austria (8%), Czechoslovakia (9%), Germany (9%), Estonia (9%), France (10%), and Denmark (10%) were found to have the lowest prayer rates. The full list of the recent survey of the most prayerful countries is as follows:
