Israel Kills Top Hamas Rocket Developer During Gaza Airstrike

Israel conducted offensive airstrikes in Gaza and confirmed the elimination of Moshen Abu Zina, the leader of Hamas’ Weapons and Industries. Despite calls for a ceasefire, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced their refusal to halt operations.

According to the IDF, Zina was a specialist in developing strategic weapons and rockets for the terrorist group. The Israeli army, via its X account on Twitter, stated its intent to continue eliminating Hamas fighters in Gaza.

“The IDF and ISA eliminated Hamas’ Head of Weapons and Industries, Moshen Abu Zina,” IDF wrote.

“He served as one of Hamas’ leading weapon developers, with expertise in strategic weapons and rockets.

“We continue to operate in Gaza to eliminate Hamas.”

Israeli forces have encircled Gaza City, where Hamas has established an extensive network of underground tunnels for the movement of fighters and supplies used in their attacks on Israel. The military has stated that their troops are currently positioned in the central area of Gaza City, and Israel’s Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, mentioned on Tuesday that their soldiers are “tightening the noose” around the terrorist group.

“[Troops] have one target – Hamas terrorists in Gaza, their infrastructure, their commanders, bunkers, communications rooms,” said Gallant.

In the meantime, a large number of Palestinians from the northern Gaza Strip have chosen to move south using an evacuation corridor established by the IDF, which provides a safe route for Gazans to escape the ongoing conflict.
