The Supervisory Presiding Officer (SPO) who was kidnapped on the eve of the governorship election has been released, as confirmed by Mr. Wilfred Ifogah, the Head of Department for Voter Education and Publicity at INEC Bayelsa, in a statement on Saturday.
Ifogah expressed gratitude to those who showed concern and contributed to the officer’s release, noting that the INEC official is in good condition.
