The House of Representatives has demanded that the Industrial Training Fund clarifies the whereabouts of N3 billion, as indicated in the 2022 Auditor General’s report, within a 48-hour timeframe.
This ultimatum was issued during Monday’s session on the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework and the Fiscal Strategy Paper. The Chairman of the Committee on Finance, overseeing the interactive session with federal government agency heads, delivered the directive at the National Assembly Complex.
Additionally, the Nigerian Communications Commission was instructed to account for the N291 billion spent on broadband in 2022, given concerns about service quality not meeting standards.
