The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) revealed that, as of October 2023, Kogi, Rivers, and Lagos are the states experiencing the highest all-items inflation rates.
The NBS Consumer Price Index (CPI) report, released on Wednesday, highlighted that Kogi registered the highest Year-on-Year inflation at 34.20%, followed by Rivers at 31.44% and Lagos at 31.23%.
Conversely, Borno, Jigawa, and Sokoto had the slowest increases in headline inflation on a Year-on-Year basis, with rates of 20.06%, 23.52%, and 24.47%, respectively.
Waffi TV reported that Nigeria’s headline inflation rate rose to 27.33% in October from 26.72% in September.
