INEC has officially issued the Certificate of Return to Douye Diri, the Governor-elect of Bayelsa State and the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, following his victory in the state’s gubernatorial election held on November 11.
Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, Diri’s running mate and the deputy governor-elect of Bayelsa State, also received his certificate of return during the presentation ceremony at the Prof. Mahmood Yakubu Media Centre in the INEC state office located in Yenagoa.
The certificates were presented by INEC national commissioner May Agbamuche-Mbu, who oversees Akwa Ibom, Rivers, and Bayelsa.
