In Adamawa State, a 30-year-old man, Buguwa Kwaji, admitted to sexually assaulting a two-year-old girl. Police in Adamawa State are currently investigating the case, with the man citing alcohol as a contributing factor to his actions.
Buguwa, who resides at Aljannaru village in Song LGA, where he perpetrated the crime, said, “After drinking a gin known as voltage on that fateful day, I lay down, and the little girl came and started playing on my body. I raped her because I could not resist the urge for sex.”
The little girl’s older sister caught him in the act, leading to her alerting neighbors who apprehended him and handed him over to the police. Buguwa, who is married, has a pregnant wife.
Confirming the incident on Saturday, the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, stated that the Commissioner of Police, Afolabi Babatola, has ordered a comprehensive investigation and prosecution regarding the case.
