Over the weekend, Nigeria’s currency, the naira, strengthened against the US dollar in the foreign exchange market. According to official data from FMDQ, the naira closed at N791.25 against the dollar on Friday, marking an appreciation from N841.14/$1 on Thursday, representing a 5.87% gain or N49.39 compared to the previous day’s exchange rate.
Concurrently, the naira maintained stability in the parallel market.
Additionally, despite October’s inflation increase in Nigeria, Waffi TV reported a N31.23 gain for the naira on Wednesday.
