The outcomes of certain governorship elections in the recent Court of Appeal rulings have prompted a response from Atiku Abubakar, the 2023 presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party. He claims that the All Progressives Congress is pursuing a strategy of “snatch, grab, and run.”
“These are clearly ominous signs that threaten not just our faith in the electoral and judicial system but evincing that our democracy is compromised,” Atiku said in a statement Monday by his media adviser, Paul Ibe.
“It is also crystal clear that the ruling party will not desist from this inglorious ideology of ‘snatch, grab and run away with power.’”
