27 Players Facing Suspension In Premier League

Approximately 27 players are on the verge of facing suspension in the Premier League. These individuals have already accumulated four yellow cards each, with the fifth booking triggering an automatic one-match ban. Notably, during Manchester City’s recent match against Aston Villa, Rodri and Jack Grealish were absent due to their fifth yellow cards obtained in the previous game against Tottenham.

Players who’ve received five yellow cards in the initial half of the season will be sidelined for one match. As the league progresses with 14 fixtures completed, players such as Kai Havertz and Bruno Fernandes are eager to evade further bookings to avoid consequences.
