Air Peace, one of Nigeria’s prominent airlines, announced its plans to recommence direct flights to Guangzhou, China, starting December 28, as conveyed in a statement by the airline’s spokesperson, Mr. Stanley Olisa, on Friday.
Mr. Olisa highlighted the introduction of a new route allowing passengers to travel between Accra and China, underscoring Air Peace’s commitment to enhancing connectivity between cities and continents while bolstering socio-economic ties.
In 2022, Air Peace initiated direct flights to China, witnessing significant passenger traffic on its inaugural flight. In subsequent years, it expanded its international routes, including Mumbai, Tel Aviv, and Jeddah in 2023. Additionally, the airline is gearing up to launch scheduled flights to London.
With a fleet of over 30 aircraft, Air Peace operates a comprehensive network encompassing 21 domestic, eight regional, and six international routes, illustrating its expansive reach and commitment to air travel connectivity.
